Every child in our community should have safe and equitable access to nature.

Who Are We?

The Pima Connecting Children to Nature (PCCN) coalition is a diverse group of community organizations who believe in the importance of children’s equitable access to nature, the benefits of nature-based learning and experiences, and the need to cultivate love for our unique Sonoran Desert. PCCN’s main focuses are:

• Advocating for Children’s Outdoor Rights

• Creating new nature-based play spaces for children across Pima County

• Increasing awareness of inequities in nature access in Pima County

• Providing nature-oriented professional development for educators
